It's November, and already we're starting to see them.that's right, Christmas decorations. They seem to be popping up earlier and earlier each year. We at Roper's Jewelers understand that the holiday season is almost upon us, and yet, our decorations remain in the basement until the day after Thanksgiving. On that magical Friday we open the boxes and stretch out the garland. We deck the halls and put bows on the clocks, and we welcome the holiday season with open arms.

But don't let any of that fool you. We've been working on our holiday inventory plans since June. When most people are putting on bathing suits and swimming in the pool, we are buying the treasures that you put under your Christmas trees and in the toes of your loved ones' stockings. As jewelers we love the holiday season, not just because the store is full of people, but because each time we hand that beautifully gift wrapped little box over the counter, we feel that we are a part of making someone's holiday dreams come true. That feeling is better than the increased sales numbers and better than the line of customers that reaches the door. Being able to make someone's holiday wishes come true makes us each feel just a little bit like Santa Claus, and we'll take that red suit over the red bathing suit, every time.
