Grandfather. Wall. Mantle. Whatever you call them, for many of us the clocks in our homes are far more than items that tell the time. Very often they are treasured family heirlooms, passed down through the generations. Some of them have graced the mantles of our families for years. Others are mementos of special occasions: weddings, anniversaries, maybe even the birth of a child. What all of these clocks have in common is the need for service. Key wound clocks, whether wall, mantle or even grandfather clocks should be cleaned and lubricated every five years. At Roper’s Jewelers we have a full time clock maker on staff who is available to service and repair all of your treasured family timepieces. Michael Voshev has been our full time clock maker for over 10 years. Although he does most of his work right in our Downtown Auburn store, he is also available to make house calls when necessary. He has repaired and refurbished hundreds of different clocks from small alarm clocks to large grandfather clocks and his experience speaks volumes. If you have a clock that needs servicing, bring it in to either of our locations and Michael will evaluate its needs and provide a repair estimate at no charge. If you decide to have the repair/servicing work done, then you pay for the work when the job is completed.

Perhaps you have seen the grandfather clocks on display in our stores. Maybe you’ve always loved them and were waiting for just the right time to make one your own. Well, the time is now. Starting October 1st we will have all the clocks, in both of our stores, marked at special holiday sale prices. From grandfather clocks to mantle and wall clocks, everything will be specially priced. We will even have some refurbished vintage clocks on sale. Come in to our stores and find the clock that you’ve been waiting for.
